Fashion design comprises a thorough analysis on the fabrics. When a consumer finds a beautiful garment in a store he/she expects it fit well and to feel nice when wearing it. My job as a fashion designer is to take into account that features of the fabric meet the requirements of the design – to ensure both style and wearability of the cloth.  

Quality knowledge is a crucial part of fashion design. In order for a fashion designer to be able to deliver quality products at a reasonable cost, one must choose right designs with matching fabrics, yet without compromising the style. Styles being contemporary or timeless – consumer expects value for money whereas the company expects its returns, both of which can only be achieved by careful planning of all aspects – quality and commercial.
